1) Is the Xever 7 Pro really rugged and waterproof?

Yes. It is built for harsh outdoor use with IP69K/IP68 dust and water resistance with MIL-STD-810H drop protection.

2) How waterproof is it in real life (and what should I avoid)?

It is tested to IP68 (up to 2 meters for maximum 30 minutes) under controlled lab conditions. Charger and accessories aren’t water-resistant, and you shouldn’t charge the phone when it’s wet (liquid damage isn’t covered).

3) What does “hot-swappable battery” mean on this phone?

You can change the main battery without shutting the phone down, thanks to the built-in small buffer battery. Upon removing the back cover, the phone briefly enters power-saving mode (which keeps background data) and you should finish changing the battery within 180 seconds.

4) Does it come with extra batteries and the charging stand?

Yes. It includes total of 2 main batteries and 1 charging stand.

5) Does the Xever 7 Pro have thermal imaging?

Yes. Thermal imaging is powered by the FLIR® Lepton® 3.5 sensor, and includes the MyFLIR® Pro app.

6) Can it see in complete darkness?

It has a 64MP night-vision camera with four integrated IR lights designed to capture detailed visuals even in darkness.

7) What are the main cameras for everyday photos and selfies?

It has a 50MP OIS AI main camera (stabilized for clearer shots while moving) and a 32MP selfie camera.

8) How much storage does it have, and can I expand it?

It comes with 512GB internal storage. You can add additional storage space up to 2TB via microSD (microSD card not included).
